Webinar: Tax Cut and Jobs Act - 2018 IRS Guidance

 Join Brad Marckx of BKM Sowan Horan, LLP, as he discusses how the IRS has spent the last year issuing guidance on the Tax Cut and Jobs Act, including over 400 pages last month alone. This included guidance on qualified business income, like kind exchanges, bonus depreciation, and business interest deductions, to name only a few.  Brad will discuss some of the key points of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act and how the regulations have changed tax positions.  Lastly, he will look at what can be done before the end of the year.

Brad started his career approximately 20 years ago working as a revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). His background with the IRS and a Masters Degree in Taxation (MT) from the University of Denver provides a solid foundation in helping businesses, both private and public. Brad’s area of concentration include federal and state tax planning and compliance, ASC 740, Accounting for income taxes (including documentation of uncertain positions), entity choice, and strategic plans and forecasts.  Over the past 18 years Brad has worked with mortgage companies of all types and sizes in developing tax planning strategies and ensuring appropriate tax compliance.
